Holy Week at Asbury UMC
Palm/Passion Sunday

Traditional Service of Worship including the reading of the passion from the Gospel of Mark.
Maundy Thursday
April 5, 6:30 pm
Footwashing Service 6:30-7:30 pm in the Duke Chapel Crypt. This will be at the Duke University Chapel with our partners in ministry, the Duke Wesley Fellowship.
Good Friday
April 6, 12:00 Noon
Service of Worship Following the Noon time service the sanctuary will be available for gathering and prayer through the Stations of the Cross.
Easter Sunday
April 8, Easter Celebration!
9:30 am – Easter Egg Hunt
All ages welcome! Join us for egg dying, story time, Easter crafts, games and refreshments.
Bring your Easter Basket!
9:45 am - Lenten Study Celebration for Sunday School

Durham District Habitat for Humanity House

CROP Walk – Sunday, April 1st
We walk because they walk!
Through the CROP Hunger Walk, we are ending hunger one step at a time. Asbury will serve as a host station again this year.
The 2012 Durham CROP Walk will step off from Duke Chapel, on the campus of Duke University, at 2:30 pm on Sunday, April 1st.
Durham District Lay Rally
Sunday, February 26—Mt. Sylvan UMC at 3 pm
The FINAL Lay Rally of the Durham Districtwill be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Mt. Sylvan UMC. Emily Innes will be the guest speaker. Emily is the Conference Lay Leader and the Head of the North Carolina Conference General Conference Delegation. The clergy of the district will provide special music. As this will be the last Lay Rally of the Durham District, we will have a roll call of churches.
Your presence is needed to represent ASBURY in the Rally.
