Nurturing One Another – Lenten Study

A Sunday School opportunity for all classes during Lent

February 26 – April 8

During Lent, as we walk with Christ toward the cross, this seven week study will examine the ways people nurtured Christ on his journey. We will discuss how we can emulate these caregivers, and the role of our community in birth, sickness, death and resurrection.

Join us for this study as we prepare for Easter.

Lenten Study – Nurturing One Another

Feb 26-Apr 8 ~ A Sunday School opportunity for all classes

As a baby, Mary wrapped him. When thirsty, the Samaritan woman gave him water. After being crucified, Joseph laid him in the tomb.

During Lent, as we walk with Christ toward the cross, this seven-week study will examine the ways people nurtured Christ on his journey. We will discuss how we can emulate these caregivers, and the role of our community in birth, sickness, death and resurrection.

Class will ask for 1 hour of individual study during the week in preparation for Sunday School.

Come along and rediscover the real meaning of Christmas and gain insight into our own journeys of faith with Christ Jesus and each other.

Gingerbread Brunch

You and your children are invited to a Gingerbread Brunch at Asbury United Methodist Church.

Saturday December 10, 2011 10:00 am – Noon.

We will make gingerbread houses, decorate Christmas Cookies, have brunch and enjoy a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
