The I Am Project

Asbury Church is beginning a year-long journey we're calling the "I Am" project, an intentional effort to rebuild our life together around the seven I Am statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. Starting this August, we will be transitioning from worship on Sunday mornings to worship throughout the week in small groups, creating space to re-center our place in the community, our mission in the world and our relationship to Christ. We would love for you to join us on the ground floor!  The group descriptions below will give you an idea where you might begin.

Matthew 7:24  (NIV)

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

The Small Groups

Jesus says those who hear his word and act on it are like people who build their house on a rock (Matthew 7:24). I am is a pathway to rebuild our church, from the foundation up, through disciple-making small groups.
