Building as we go!
Families come in all shapes and sizes.
We believe church family does too.
Our Sunday School at Asbury follows a rotation of learning approaches during a given month. Building on the strengths of our teachers and adult volunteers, the kids study, pray, garden, create, and play around a single scripture story or theme each month.
We invite families with school-age children to come to worship any Sunday. Except for Sundays when we share Holy Communion (the first Sunday of each month), kids are dismissed for either class or our nursery after Family Time.
This month our Kids Sunday School will be studying the call of Saul.

All children are invited to sit with their grown-ups for the start of worship. Most Sundays we will have a short family-time (other churches may call this “Children’s Moment”) and then children are invited to leave the sanctuary with the teacher and adult volunteers for the day’s lesson & activity.
Activity baskets are available near the back of the sanctuary & a reading nook is set up in the narthex connected to the back of the sanctuary.
We encourage all grown-ups to make use of the spaces provided and participate how your family feels most comfortable.

Yes! We have nursery volunteers each week in a nursery across the hall from the sanctuary. There is a changing table and rocking chairs in there should you need prefer to stay with your child or need to use these facilities during the service.
We have the service livestream in the nursery room.
Additionally, at the back of the sanctuary, there is a reading nook and chairs available should you chose to keep your little ones in worship and they need an activity break.
Families are encouraged to do what is comfortable for you and your little ones.
